Birthday Books
To keep new books coming into the classrooms, we invite you to participate in the "Birthday Books" program. On your child's birthday month, consider the idea of gifting a new book to your child's classroom.
How to donate:
- Choose a book from our Wishlist below or pick your favorite children’s book tittle
- drop off book at Carpool OR
- Ship the book directly the CDS Library (6418 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101).
(we prefer paperbacks when possible to accommodate shelf space)
All donated books will have your child's name inscribed within. The book's journey starts in the child's classroom. It is then placed in the CDS library, available to all children in the school. You may send in a book anytime letting the teachers know it is a Birthday Book donation.
