Parent Representative Organization

The Parent Representative Organization, commonly referred to as PRO, oversees parent volunteers in support of school wide activities and events. These events offer a wide variety of opportunities to get involved, make friends, and make a positive and lasting difference at Country Day School.

Due to the Pandemic large school events have been cancelled. Parent meetings will be held virtually.

Volunteer Throughout the Year

PRO offers something for every level of involvement and time commitment. You can volunteer to support a committee by working a shift, indicate your interest in becoming a PRO rep in the classroom or take on a larger role. We encourage you to choose what best suits your circumstances this year, and no one is expected to do it all!

Please feel free to contact us at any time, or come to a PRO meeting to learn more. Our information is below. The most up to date PRO information, activities, and sign ups are available on the Parent Portal resource board.

We look forward to seeing all of you this year!

Katie Simone and Elle Patout

PRO Co-Chairs

Throughout the year we invite you to contact Jennie Hashemi or your class PRO representative if you'd like to get involved. All interested parents are welcome to attend our monthly PRO meetings, held at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month.

All parents are welcome at the monthly PRO meeting and social, held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.. A brief meeting is held for committees to report out on their business and then the barn is available for parents to socialize after. Members of the administration are on hand to answer any parent questions or ask for parent feedback about events, programs and policies.
