Learn more about why it is so important that children at CDS connect with nature through our curriculum, as discussed in an NPR interview with experts in the field.
Learning in Action
At Country Day School the learning is not limited to students alone. Our staff continually strives to keep up to date with the latest research and best practice in early childhood education through annual professional development workshops, membership in professional organizations like NAEYC, sharing news and research articles, and pursuing higher education. We encourage our families to be lifelong learners, too, through parent education workshops hosted by Dr. Rene Hackney as well as sharing relevant news and resources parents may find helpful. We hope these resources are useful as we all work together to create a rich learning community at CDS.
