Country Day is a play, nature based NAEYC and GreenSchools accredited school. Where nature and nurture come together to offer excellence in early childhood education.
CDS sits on 4 acres of picturesque hillside in historic Langley Fork. We have nine playgrounds, a butterfly garden, a nature trail, two education buildings, a nature/science room, and a library.
The grounds allow us to have a robust outdoor program bringing the classroom outside. We design educational programs using the lush grounds to connect children with nature. Teaching the children to explore and learn about the world around them in a safe environment.
The staff of educators at CDS understand the developmental needs of preschoolers and Kindergarteners. They engage the children in both small group and individual activities. Take advantage of the many wonderful indoor/outdoor classroom experiences. We are dedicated to making your child's first preschool experience a memorable experience.
Parents have many opportunities to participate in classroom activities. Parent Representative Organization (PRO) events are always a great way to meet others. Parents are encouraged to become part of our strong and supportive community.
